Reviewed full senior-career aggregates, with a separate Champions League option, are available: penalties, source-defined free kicks and non-penalty goals. This is a small primary-source sample, not career penalty/free-kick or finishing totals. “Other” means a verified goal that is neither an in-match penalty nor a direct free kick; it can still follow an assisted set piece. Unclassified goals remain unknown. Goal minutes are regulation minute plus added-time component; match playing minutes are a different field.

Messi overtaken by Neuer in Champions League appearances
UEFA lists Neuer on 164 main-competition appearances, ahead of Messi’s 163; Ronaldo remains top on 183.

UEFA confirms Kane did not score in Bayern’s win at Atlético, ending his run short of Ronaldo’s record.
Our take: Counting appearances in our archive, Ronaldo’s longest Champions League scoring run is 11 matches, compared with Messi’s 5. This counts successive appearances, so it should not be confused with goals in successive team fixtures or a single-season scoring record.
