New England are framing the visit of Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami as a collective challenge. In the Revolution’s official preview, published on 30 October, head coach Marko Mitrović emphasises his own side’s team effort against Miami’s attacking quality and experience.
His comments describe confronting Miami together rather than relying on an individual duel. They are useful context for tonight’s meeting, but the preview does not establish a specific man-marking assignment, Messi’s starting status or either team’s final line-up.
The club lists kick-off at Gillette Stadium for 7pm Eastern on Sunday 1 November. With the US clock change accounted for, that is midnight GMT at the start of Monday 2 November. A British reader seeing the fixture on Monday is therefore looking at the same match, not an extra game.
The next meaningful updates will be the official team sheets and, once the game is complete, the verified result. This is a pre-match story: no appearance, goal or assist from this fixture has been added to the site’s career totals.
